Crop PDF
Trim the margins of a PDF by dragging a box on the page, or auto-trim white space in one click. Runs 100% in your browser — no uploads, no watermarks.
Crop a PDF Without Uploading It
Drag a box straight onto the page preview to keep only the part you want, or press Auto-trim and let the tool find the edges of the content and cut the white space away for you. Margins can also be typed in exactly, in points, and you can apply the crop to every page or just the one you are looking at. Great for stripping scanner borders, tightening a slide deck for reading on a phone, or removing the wide margins from an academic paper. 100% browser-based, completely private, free, and no watermarks.
Why Use Our PDF Crop Tool?
- Visual cropping: Draw the keep area directly on a rendered preview of the real page — no guessing at numbers.
- One-click auto-trim: The page is scanned for its content bounds and the surrounding white space is removed automatically.
- Exact control: Type top, bottom, left and right margins in points, and see the resulting page size as you go.
- 100% Private & Free: The PDF is rendered and rewritten in your browser — nothing is uploaded, and there are no limits.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I crop a PDF?
Upload the PDF, drag a box on the page preview to mark what you want to keep, then click "Crop PDF". You can also type exact margins or use Auto-trim.
What does Auto-trim do?
It scans the rendered page for the bounding box of everything that is not white, then sets the margins to just outside that content with a small 6pt cushion.
Can I crop only one page?
Yes. Switch "Apply to" from All pages to This page, and only the page you are viewing is trimmed.
Is the cropped content deleted?
No. Cropping changes the visible page box, so text outside the box is hidden rather than erased and could still be recovered. Do not rely on it to redact sensitive information.
Do all pages have to be the same size?
No. The crop is clamped per page, so a shorter or narrower page keeps at least 20pt in each direction instead of disappearing.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The preview and the crop both run in your browser, so the file never leaves your device.
